Our Payment Policies and Your Dental Insurance Plan:

We are committed to providing your child with the best possible care. We accept cash or major credit cards for payment, as well as Dental Insurance. If you have dental insurance, we are anxious to help you maximize your benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance and your understanding of our payment policies.

Most dental insurance companies pay only a portion of the services we provide. The amount that you are responsible to pay varies depending on your group or employer’s contract with that insurance company. On your first appointment, we will collect information about your insurance plan and we will call them to verify your benefits. The information that your insurance company provides to us is a guideline only, and does not guarantee their reimbursement to us.

We agree to bill your insurance company for all services rendered. However, your estimated portion (called co-insurance and/or deductibles) for the treatment performed is due at the time services are rendered. The amount we collect is an estimate only, as the insurance company may not pay according to the guidelines they originally give us. Please realize that:Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer or group, and the insurance company. We are not responsible for the benefits that they provide to you.Not all services are a covered benefit in all contracts. Some insurance companies arbitrarily select certain services they will not cover, or have limitations on certain services. You will be billed for any services that your insurance company denies or otherwise pays at a lesser amount than expected. Billing Statements must be paid within 30 days of the billing date to avoid late charges or collection fees.We must emphasize that, as dental care providers, our relationship is with you, not your insurance contract. While the filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to our patients, all charges are your responsibility from the date the services are rendered.Payments for services can be made with cash, checks and/or all major credit cards. Returned checks and balances older than 30 days may be subject to additional collection fees and interest charges. Charges may also be made for broken appointments not cancelled with 24 hours advance notice (48 hours advance notice for sedation appointments). If your child has an extensive treatment plan, you may apply for financial assistance with Care Credit Financing Plan- please ask us. If you have any questions about the above information or about your estimated costs, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We are here to help you in any way we can.

Office Policies:

In addition to filing insurance forms for you, we offer the Care Creditl Financing Plan and gladly accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Our staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you have.

For your peace of mind a doctor is always on call for our patients. In addition, each member of our team is highly skilled and dedicated to meeting the needs of each young patient. All of our assistants are state certified and hold certifications by a radiology board as well as being certified in CPR.

How are appointments Scheduled?

This office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason. Dental appointments are an excused absence. Missing school can be kept to a minimum when regular dental care is continued.

Since appointed times are reserved exclusively for each patient we ask that you please notify our office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Another patient who needs our care could be scheduled if we have sufficient time to notify them. We realize that unexpected things can happen, but we ask for your assistance in this regard. We do not charge for missed appointments, please see our payment policy above.
